Memory

Some bonuses allow you to add skills to your Memory. The Sage passive 'Free Cast' adds skills to Memory when they are cancelled via Cast Cancel.

• Adding a skill to Memory takes 200% SP.
    • This becomes the skill's storage cost, rendering the SP unusable until released.
    • Releasing a skill costs 1 SP.
• If a skill is stored with 90% or more of its cast completed, it's marked as a 'Memorize'.
• 'Memorized' skills are cast instantly on release, and have their SP cost halved.
• Releasing a 'Memorized' skill grants you Minisuff if you still have 5 or more 'Memorized' skills in your Memory.
• Your Memory is fully cleared when you are dispelled, soul burned, dead, or changing map.

[Memory]
• When you cast a skill stored in your Memory, its cast time is shortened to the time remaining when it was originally stored.
    • For example, Storm Gust had 2s remaining of its cast time when you stored it to Memory, casting it again will shorten Storm Gust's cast time to 2s.
• Adding a skill to Memory takes 200% SP.
    • This becomes the skill's storage cost, rendering the SP unusable until released.

[Memorize]
• If a skill is stored with 90% or more of its cast completed, it's marked as a 'Memorize'.
• 'Memorized' skills are cast instantly on release, and have their SP cost halved.
• Performing a 'Memorize' while you have 5 or more 'Memorized' skills grants you Minisuff.

[Memory storage details]
• If you cast a skill in your Memory at a level that differs from the stored level, discard the stored skill.
• Cast time reductions do not apply when releasing a stored skill, but cast time increases do.
• If your current cast time for a skill would be faster than the stored cast time, discard the stored skill.
    • For example, if you have Storm Gust stored at 9s remaining, but you do a Storm Gust cast that would be 6s (e.g., you gained Suffragium), the Storm Gust in memory is discarded and you do the 6s cast.

[Cast Cancel Buffer Delay]
• Cast Cancel cannot be used for 0.3s after a cast bar ends if you have anything in Memory. This is to prevent buffered inputs and late Memorize misses from wiping your storage.
• You can use @ccbufferdelay to enable/disable this grace period, or do it in @config's Advanced menu.
• If you supply a number to @ccbufferdelay, that'll become your new buffer delay in milliseconds. The minimum is 100 and the maximum is 1000.
• You can supply '-1' to reset to the default of 300.
• These settings are account-wide.
